Oscar de la Renta Bella Essence is een vrouwelijke, klassieke eau de parfum met een zachte bloemige geur die goed werkt overdag en in de avond. Veel gebruikers vinden de geur mooi en tijdloos, met een goede houdbaarheid en een aangename, niet te sterke uitstraling. De verpakking is luxe en ziet er duurzaam uit. Toch ontwikkelt de geur zich anders op verschillende huidtypes: sommigen vinden de droogfase te zuiver of zeepachtig, anderen vinden hem te subtiel of ruiken de beloofde noten niet goed. Wie van klassieke, zachte bloemengeuren houdt, zal hier blij mee zijn, maar het is verstandig om eerst te testen op de eigen huid.

The bottle is gorgeous! Frosty back with lovely gold flowers in the front. The scent didn’t smell the way I expected with my body chemistry. It wasn’t awful. It was sweet & baby powder like on me. But, that doesn’t mean it won’t smell decadent on you. When trying new fragrances I always wear for at least an entire day. This scent is one where you will have to reapply.

I read the description of this and what the fragrance notes were supposed to be and was very excited to try this. I expected raspberry and sweet warm notes. However, on me, the only thing I smell is citrus and grapefruit. I tried it on my sister- who also only smelled citrus. While not a bad scent, it wasn’t what I expected. But the bad thing is that it doesn’t last more than 10 minutes. Not even a hint that any perfume was sprayed.

By the description of this, I believed I would LOVE it! If I could give a negative review, I definitely would! This is so strong and smells like SOURED ROSES! Not something I would EVER wear and really sorry I even sprayed a little. It totally overpowered the room with this stink! I like a softer musk scent, vanilla, woodsy, feminine and this screams NOT that!

I thought this scent would be long lasting and powdery. It’s clean and soft. Wears off quickly on me.
