Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Black Leather Eau De Parfum 90 ml

This fragrance is very cleanly crafted and ideally suited for getting started in the world of perfumery. Scent: 8/10 The opening immediately pays tribute to the original genetics of the line. The fragrance starts with a familiar, powerful spice bomb of sharp pepper and aromatic nutmeg. After a short time, warmer facets then begin to emerge. Cinnamon unfolds, along with smoky notes from incense. After the final drydown, the leather comes through, and the whole composition feels very fresh and modernly balanced. In the finale, a very light-feeling tobacco note rounds off the fragrance completely. Longevity: 7/10 The performance sits comfortably in the solid mid-range for a modern designer EDP. The fragrance reliably lasts 4-5h on the skin. Conclusion: Spicebomb Darkleather does not reinvent the wheel, of course, but instead acts as a perfect entry-level leather fragrance.

Opens aromatic (light citrus?) and a bit fresh like, and Nutmeg. My party asked 'what musty fusty I just sprayed'. I smell a soft bit bomb at all light nutmeg smell. Leather comes in for me lightly on the dry down but overall, it's a skin scent very quickly and the only real projection was right in spraying. Up close (subjecting my partner to it) they claim it is a musty oakmoss and leather smell, some nuttiness, something musty planty'. There could be an aspect of nose blindness at work but I don't think so here.

I love all the Spice Bomb variations and this one is no exception. The scent is a little deeper and more masculine than the original Spice Bomb. A little bit goes a long way and it lasts all day.

This opwns up with tbe strength of Spice Bomb but with some beautiful black pepper and leather notes.
