ESCADA Especially is een zachte, vrouwelijke roosgeur met een frisse, wat waterige toon. Het is een veilige keuze voor overdag, bijvoorbeeld voor werk of een lunch, en blijft redelijk lang zitten. De geur is subtiel en niet opdringerig, wat prettig is voor kantoor, maar minder geschikt voor avond of formele gelegenheden. Het flesje ziet er luxe uit en de prijs is vaak goed. This fruit/patchouli fragrance is a flanker to Especially Escada. The opening is a fruit punch concoction of grapefruit, plum, pear and ambrette. A little artificial, but not objectionable. I do admit that I often enjoy fantasy notes at times. There is a fresh rose that is pleasant and sadly underused. The patchouli adds a little allure here blending with the other notes. No vanilla or musk could I detect here. Overall, I found this fragrance unfinished, underdeveloped and woefully lacking in sillage and longevity—lasting about 90 minutes.
