De Sony ULT Wear biedt een krachtige baservaring dankzij de ULT-knop, wat ideaal is voor liefhebbers van diepe lage tonen. De noise cancelling presteert opvallend goed in deze prijsklasse en de batterijduur is ruim voldoende voor lange reizen of werkweken. Comfort en bouwkwaliteit zijn dik in orde, al kan de pasvorm wat strak zijn bij grotere hoofden. Het standaard geluidsprofiel maakt stemmen soms minder helder, en je kunt LDAC en multipoint niet tegelijk gebruiken. De behuizing is vooral van plastic, wat minder luxe aanvoelt, maar de meegeleverde harde case biedt extra bescherming. Voor wie veel waarde hecht aan bas, comfort en lange batterijduur is dit een sterke keuze, maar audiofielen die neutrale klank zoeken of premium materialen verwachten, moeten rekening houden met deze punten.
