De De'Longhi EC685.BK Dedica Zwart is een compacte espressomachine met pomp. Machine gemakkelijk te gebruiken en die maakt een zeer goede espresso (enkele en dubbele). Enige nadeel: ik krijg geen mooie schuim met de melk, er komt altijd een beetje water mee met de stoom, wat de weinig schuim die wordt gemaakt verpest. Ik raad het toch aan.

Het is heel eenvoudig, ik was zo tevreden over mijn Dedica espressomachine dat ik niet kon weerstaan om er een cadeau te doen aan mijn petekind voor de geboorte van haar zoon ... als grote koffieliefhebster was ze betoverd door het apparaat tijdens een van haar bezoeken aan huis.

I am very particular about my coffee and have owned several espresso machines over the years. This one is so easy to love. It's stylish, doesn't take up much space in my kitchen, and delivers perfect flat white and espresso. The factory setting for water temperature is just right, so there is no need to warm the cup. It produces a beautiful café crema for the espresso, and with some practice—by holding the jug at an angle and making gentle movements—you can create milk froth that rivals more professional machines. Given that my previous coffee machine was more expensive, I was not sure I would be happy with this one. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

The pressure needed to heat the milk is not sufficient to do the job and the noise is ridiculous. We sent it off to De'Longhi to be repaired, but same problem exists. John Lewis won't refund or replace, the only option is to send it off again. Too much time wasted on this product. I won't be using either company again.
