De Sony Bravia XR-98X90L biedt een indrukwekkende 98-inch kijkervaring met uitstekende beeldkwaliteit, diepe contrasten en levendige kleuren dankzij de Cognitive Processor XR en Full Array LED. Voor gamers zijn HDMI 2.1, VRR en 4K/120Hz aanwezig, maar er zijn slechts twee HDMI 2.1-poorten. HDR-content toont soms blooming door het beperkte aantal dimming zones, en zwartwaarden zijn minder dan bij OLED. Het geluid is helder maar mist bas, dus een soundbar is aan te raden. Door het formaat en gewicht is plaatsing een uitdaging. Google TV en Bravia Core zorgen voor veel streamingopties. Dit model is ideaal voor wie een groot scherm zoekt en beeldkwaliteit belangrijk vindt, maar er zijn enkele compromissen qua HDR, geluid en aansluitingen.

This is a 2023 model tv. We are in year 2025 and the price for a 2 year old tv is still overly expensive. $6,000. 2 year old technology... I had to really dig to find the year model. I am very disappointed in this sale method.

Recently bought and set up the Sony XR98X90L. As I have had the TV up and running for about a week I can’t address longevity but I can say that it has a great picture but not as good as the XR75X95K that I moved to another room. I expected a small difference as the 90L is direct array and the 95K was mini LED but it is still a great picture. I am excited for the upcoming college and NFL football season and that will be a great way to really test the TV. I bought the 98” to replace the 75” because we use the close caption feature and it could be difficult to read because of the the distance between our couch and the TV - it is no longer a problem. BTW my wife was away when I had the TV installed and when she said this is a bigger TV I replied that her eyes were playing tricks on her and it was the same TV as before her trip but she was not fooled so I confessed. Great fun!

Great tv could not be happier with its performance. Sony definately knows it's stuff! Color's are spot on sound quality also superb. Could not be happier with my decision to stick with Sony excellent!
