Great scanner. Easy to set up. Works great under Windows 10, unlike my older scanner. Perfect for home office. Like all flatbed scanners, has a large footprint, so some people might want an all-in-one printer-scanner. The scanner software, which you download, installs two programs:: HP Scan and HP Scan Assistant. Between them you can customize all settings rapidly. This scanner is awesome and I didn't lose a day setting it up.

Works wells, easy to install and set up. A little noisy but I bought the scan for an office so it's okay. I am very happy with my purchase. I recommend.

Equipment is too noisy -- loud sound when turned on and loud when scanning. I had a previous HP scanner and it worked great -- not noisy. The only reason I purchased a new scanner is the old scanner started to show a black line that could not be removed -- not dirt. The black line would go away with "edge erase" but usnig that feature block out information in the margin. Called HP several times and no one could help with black line problem. I'm disappointed with this equipment due to the loud noise when using the equipment. HP should fix this noise problem.
