Denon AVR-X2800H DAB Zwart

I have had this amplifier for around 3 weeks. I had help with the installation although I had an X2200 before. Connections are fairly straightforward but too near the floor for an 80 year old! The only issue is with finding my way around the menus, with the Quick Start Guide being too basic and the online manual too detailed. I have suggested in my review to Denon that an in between 'How to' to help with the menu system would be helpful.

I bought this to replace my older version of the same model. Setting up was easy and my system was up and running in no time. I had a small issue with syncing other equipment but a call to Richer sounds guided me to the correct part of the setup and everything is working well. The sound is clear and dynamic with lots of options for sdjustment to suit your speakers and room layout.

Once the 8 point Audyssey calibration is complete the sound is the best and clearest I've ever had, this being the 3rd AV amp that I've owned, even though my seating positions are nothing like the standard diagram and my lounge is an awkward L shape. I found that using an A.I. app (eventually) got me to the best microphone positions. Easy to connect to my existing speakers and other kit. I can't fault the clarity of the video.
