On my skin, it smells creamy and soft, reminding me of the new Hermes Un jardin a cythere, but by no means as citrusy in the top note, rather gentle from the start. And with the carrot seeds bringing a distinct spiciness, Ikar is almost a niche candidate! Although there are no pistachios present, I strongly associate this fragrance with the fine but fatty scent of pistachios. Unfortunately, as harmonious as everything about this fragrance is for me, there is one note that, depending on the temperature, sometimes simply reminds me of that classic citric toilet cleaner theme. Have always loved this cologne and always will. It may not last as long as others but gives me a chance to "freshen" up mid-day with this sexy smell. Will always remind me of that someone special that first bought it for me in D.C. Love it.
