Hermès Jour d'Hermès is een lichte, verfijnde bloemige geur van Jean-Claude Ellena met uitstekende diffusie en duurzaamheid. De geur combineert frisse citrus- en groene bloemige noten met een zachte, witte muskbasis. Dit is een veelzijdige geur die geschikt is voor zowel dag- als avondgebruik en alle seizoenen. De subtiele, elegante aard maakt het ideaal voor wie voorzichtige, verfijnde geuren prefereert. De duurzaamheid is goed voor een lichte geur, hoewel dit kan variëren per huidtype. Sommige dragers vinden het misschien te subtiel.

This EDP opens with an uplifting citrus that lasts for about an hour. The heart seems to be composed of gardenia with elements of water notes and some non-descript green notes that seem to wash each other out. I found this fragrance to be mostly composed of sweet pea powder musk. I do understand and appreciate the concept of a quiet scent and how fragrance does not need to shout to make a statement. However, I found this EDP to be very thin, transparent with a weak tenacity to it. Its very lacking in something but I can't identify what it is. What a shame. I often enjoy Hermes fragrances but this isn't one of them.

I love this perfume. The sample size seem to be a little bit more citrusy. I like the bergamot. I still love it.

Warning. The one I received was not authentic. It was a lot of alcohol and the ghost of the grassy bottom note. It obviously was cut with a lot of alcohol. I wouldn't believe that this was eau de toilette, much less parfum. I own Jardin sur le Toit, soI know what an Hermes fragrance should be: complex, full, and long lasting. Forget this one.
