De Sennheiser HD 560S wordt geprezen om zijn neutrale, analytische geluidsweergave en is ideaal voor kritisch luisteren of studiogebruik. Het lichte ontwerp en de zachte oorkussens zorgen voor langdurig comfort. De open-back constructie biedt een ruimtelijk geluidsbeeld, maar dit gaat ten koste van diepe basprestaties: subbas en midbas zijn minder aanwezig. De klemkracht is stevig, wat niet voor iedereen prettig is, en de kabel is lastig te vervangen door het eigen ontwerp. De hoge tonen zijn helder, maar kunnen bij gevoelige oren na verloop van tijd vermoeiend zijn. Over het algemeen is het een uitstekende keuze voor wie een betaalbare referentiehoofdtelefoon zoekt, maar basliefhebbers of mensen die veel onderweg luisteren, kunnen beter verder kijken.

This is the second pair of these headphones I now own. Not because of damage, but because I like them so much I bought a second pair for other uses. I have a pair plugged into my receiver for listening to music and films without waking the house at night. They get plenty loud and still have a lot of clarity. I use this pair for practising instruments. They are supposed to have a flat, analytical response. To be honest, I don't think I can tell very much... But they do sound really good. And like an accurate representation of the sounds I make. They're also really comfy. Good clamping force, not too hard. Nice, soft velour cushioning. And a big enough cup that my ears don't rub. Decently long cable, comes with a 1/4" adapter in the box.

I bought expensive sennheiser in 1979. Sounded great but had yellow foam that deteriorated. Sound quality good with these and material unlikely to deteriorated so happy.

Unbelievable balance of quality and price, with wonderful bass. Very close to my expensive room set up with mid tone and clarity which really surprised me. And always good to support Richer Sounds!

I bought these to replace my old pioneer SE 450 set that have served me well for many years. The difference in sound is quite remarkable. Much more depth and quality with the sound and the fit and comfort on the ears is first class. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new set of cans simply superb. As was the call handler as bought from telesales a great experience all round as usual from Richer Sounds.
