Rode Videomicro II

I can't see the difference with the built-in microphone on my Canon R7. I looked for a long time but the red cable doesn't work on the R7, you have to use the black cable. The fleece is hard to put on, you have to twist it as if you were screwing it on. Received not very quickly but this is very rare at LDLC.

Gets much better sound than built in mics on Lumix G9 with reduced environmental noise. Worked straight out of box.

Good upgrade, I mainly brought it for the better holder than the mk1 version which was a bit flimsy, this is much more rigid. Love that you can just plug it in without worrying about batteries or an on/off switch.

Literally so easy to use and great quality. I had to buy an (inexpensive) adaptor for my phone but I knew that in advance. The microphone is so light and easy to carry around. Love it.
