De Canon EOS RP met 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens is een lichte en compacte full-frame camera die scherpe beelden en natuurlijke kleuren levert. De autofocus is snel en stil, en de beeldstabilisatie werkt goed, zelfs bij weinig licht. Het variabele diafragma betekent wel dat je bij inzoomen minder licht hebt, wat vooral bij weinig licht een nadeel is. Op 24mm is er duidelijke vervorming, maar dit is goed te corrigeren in software. De camera is niet weerbestendig en een lenskap wordt niet standaard meegeleverd. Voor wie een betaalbare en veelzijdige instap in het full-frame segment zoekt, is dit een aantrekkelijke optie, mits je de beperkingen accepteert.

I've had almost a year and managed to take over 1600 photo's which detailed enough to crop without losing definition. I had to buy a spare battery as the supplied battery runs down faster (plus I switched off the energy saving). The supplied lens covers a good range of subjects but focusing lock switches off mid shoot.

Beste De camera met meegeleverde lens doen, het zeer goed. Ik heb nooit een full frame camera gehad ,maar wat ruis aangaat is het een stuk beter dan APC camera,ik had liever een EOS R6 m2 gekocht ,maar is te duur voor mijn portemonee. Graag geweten of er een camera software update is ,omdat een van mijn lenzen weigert dienst , misschien zijn er wel updates maar heb ze nog niet gevonden. lodewijk22

Bought this camera for my daughter, while I know nothing about cameras she has already given it a whirl and is very impressed with it. She says the pictures are amazing.

Canon EOS RP captures lovely images using its full-frame sensor, and the body design manages to be small but still pleasant to use. There’s plenty to like about it - but it’s also got its fair share of niggles that make it frustrating at times.
