De Insta360 X4 wordt breed gezien als een van de beste 360°-camera’s van dit moment. Hij biedt 8K 360-video met veel detail, een 4K single-lens modus en sterke slowmotionmogelijkheden, gecombineerd met uitstekende FlowState-stabilisatie en 360° horizon lock. De accuduur is duidelijk beter dan bij de X3 en veel concurrenten, waardoor je tot ruim twee uur kunt filmen zonder wisselen. De camera is robuust, waterdicht en werkt samen met een krachtige maar toegankelijke app vol creatieve modi. Tegelijk melden meerdere reviews dat de X4 in weinig licht achterblijft: ruis en agressieve ruisonderdrukking maken beelden zachter. 8K-clips zijn bovendien erg groot en vragen snelle kaarten en een sterke computer, en de body is wat groter en zwaarder dan de X3. Door de relatief hoge prijs is hij vooral interessant voor gebruikers die de 360- en reframingfuncties echt gaan benutten.

Got on sale and many good reviews so I bought a d not really better than using my Samsung phone except it's 360 capability. Set up, software and connections with pc and phone unsatisfactory. Not recommended for uses with digital knowledge and technical knowledge.
