De GoPro MAX2 is een krachtige 360° actioncam die vooral interessant is voor makers die maximale beeldkwaliteit zoeken. Hij filmt in 8K 360° met hoge bitrates en 10‑bit kleur, wat veel detail en ruimte voor kleurcorrectie geeft. De HyperSmooth‑stabilisatie met horizon lock en de zes microfoons zorgen voor stabiele beelden en ruimtelijk geluid, ook bij actie. De vervangbare, geharde glazen lenzen maken de camera beter bestand tegen stoten en goedkoper te repareren bij schade. Wel moet je rekening houden met grote bestanden, een zwaardere montage‑workflow en de noodzaak van snelle microSD‑kaarten. Voor wie vooral snel en simpel wil filmen, kan de 360‑workflow wat omslachtig zijn, maar voor serieuze contentcreators biedt de MAX2 veel creatieve mogelijkheden.

I’m leaving this review to warn other users about my recent experience with a GoPro camera. I had several short videos saved on my GoPro, and the device allowed me to watch them back with no issues. Later on, without giving me any notification or warning, those videos were deleted. The camera then let me record new footage over the top of the missing files, so the originals were permanently lost. I tried multiple recovery programs (EaseUS, Disk Drill, etc.) but nothing could recover the deleted clips. These were important videos, and losing them without any warning has been extremely frustrating. A camera like this should never delete files on its own or allow overwriting without clear alerts to the user. I’m posting this so others are aware that this can happen. I hope GoPro addresses this issue, because this experience has made me lose trust in their products.
