De Philips Series 5000 HD9395/90 is een degelijke, dubbelwandige waterkoker met een mooi design en een grote capaciteit van 1,7 liter. Het grootste voordeel is de veiligheid: de buitenkant wordt niet heet, wat fijn is met kinderen in huis. De binnenkant is van roestvrij staal, dus hygiënisch en makkelijk schoon te maken. Het water kookt snel en blijft lang warm. Wel zijn er nadelen: het deksel werkt niet prettig, de waterkoker is zwaar en het waterniveau is lastig af te lezen. Ook het snoer is kort. Als je een simpele, veilige waterkoker zoekt voor dagelijks gebruik, is dit een goede keuze, maar verwacht geen extra functies zoals temperatuurinstelling.

One of the rare kettles that is almost completely stainless steel inside, can leak some water out the sides of the lid if you pour it too fast, but used with some awareness it's a great kettle.
