LG 48" OLED EVO G56 4K (2025)

Order the LG G6 55 inch on Monday, it was delivered on Thursday and wow what an upgrade from my 18 year old Plasma TV. Fantastically sharp, bright and colourful picture that is every bit as good as the reviews suggest. WebOS is a little clunky and wastes a huge amount of screen space with junk but it does the job and most of the ads and junk can at least be turned off, I mostly use an Apple TV anyway. TV gets wife approval so it must be good. Helpful service from Richard at the Leicester branch, you can't beat being able to go into a decent store, look at screens and talk to someone knowledgeable. They didn't have the this model but gave me enough information to help me make a decision with no pressure.

Absolutely brilliant picture, The picture is very bright and the is contrast is fantastic, It doesn't suffer white out from the sides like my previous Q led tv. I wont be going back to qled any time soon.

When choosing to buy an expensive household item, the picture has to earn it. This one does. Blacks are true black, contrast is outstanding, and the panel stays even from edge to edge. Brightness is strong for an OLED, so HDR still has punch in a normally lit room. Colours stay rich without looking cartoonish. It is fast and responsive. Motion is clean, menus snap, and there is no lag swapping sources or apps. The slim gallery design looks the part on the wall. Good value at this price, and the six-year guarantee is a genuine comfort. Everything I would want from a television.

Lovely bit of kit, great picture, sharp and clear; watching the footie and the Vuelta has been like being there. However, I took off 1 star as getting it all set up was a bit of a pain - bit more thought and care needed in this department. Service from RS and their delivery drivers was very good.
