De LG DSC9S biedt een indrukwekkende geluidskwaliteit met heldere dialogen en diepe bas, vooral geschikt voor films en series. Dankzij Dolby Atmos en DTS:X krijg je een ruimtelijk geluid, maar zonder extra achterspeakers wordt surround sound naar stereo omgezet, wat minder meeslepend is. De soundbar is eenvoudig te installeren, heeft veel geluidsinstellingen en een automatische kamer calibratie. Voor wie maximale surround-ervaring wil, zijn losse achterspeakers nodig. Er is geen grafische equalizer voor fijnproevers, maar de bediening is gebruiksvriendelijk en de draadloze subwoofer presteert goed.

The quality of sound is worth the investment. However, I found the instructions for set up difficult to follow. Be that as it may, I managed without assistance eventually. Location of the bluetooth confirmation light on the front of the sub-woofer would be a design improvement (ln my view)

Great sounds and very easy to set up. We love the Bluetooth facility which allows us to play our music from our phones and downloads.

An upfiring driver in the middle of this soundbar is a nice addition, but other bars have better features.

The LG SC9 is very good for mixed usage. This 3.1.3 bar has two center channels to ensure that dialogue is clear in the mix with both movies and TV shows. A dedicated subwoofer brings the thump and rumble in action-packed scenes as well as bass-heavy music. With lots of customization options, you're able to switch up the sound to your liking, too. That said, the bar has to downmix surround sound formats like Dolby Digital into stereo, resulting in a less immersive experience. You'll have to add on a separate rear speaker kit to improve its surround sound.
