Jane Iredale Skincare Balance Hydration Spray 90ml

It smells amazing but leaves a filmy look on the skin. Not the same product I used to love from them. Will be returning.

I love this as a makeup setting spray. I also use it to set my mineral foundation. It leaves a nice sheen to the skin so that it doesn't look powdery after makeup application. A little goes a long way, so even though it is expensive, it lasts for quite a while. I'm on my third bottle.

My skin in normal with some oily areas at times but once the weather changes I tend to get a little dryness and tightness to my skin. I'm in New England so the air gets quite dry! I tried this out and was so impressed with the way my skin instantly felt replenished. I want a bottle of this in every purse and every room of my house lol. I personally like the smell, this smells like Ylang Ylang which is an essential oil with a very strong floral smell. It's diluted so the Ylang Ylang smell is muted in this put still noticeable. It doesn't linger and I don't see how it would be a dealbreaker with how well this product performs. Will buy again and again

I wanted this because I thought a lemongrass scented spray would be relaxing and pleasant, but I received the opposite. The bottle arrived damaged, but i was going to keep it if the smell was as great as the reviews claim. Major disappointment. The one I got smells like mildew. I purchased it on sale for about $26, but even that's too high for something that smells like sweaty gym socks. Lastly, I looked at the bottom of the bottle. It looks like the product is either expired (2/9/20) or about to expire (9/2/20), depending on how you read it. I would return this spray if all the Ulta stores weren't closed right now, and it wasn't such a hassle to return via US mail. This was such a waste of money. Straight to the trash it goes. I've had this product for a week, bought it because of the positive reviews, reasonable price point (sale), and was willing to try something other than Mac Fix or Catrice. It sprays very nicely, but I don't notice much difference in the appearance of my makeup. Does help to make it last a bit, but not lockdown like All Nighter. My issue is the scent. It's lovely, but good word is it ever STRONG!!! Not only that, it is cough inducing. I have to spray and walk away before inhaling. I can't imagine this being a good idea to leave on the skin? Haven't broken out, but does seem a little drying. I'll keep it, but will probably use it as a body spray during the warmer months, lol.
