Epson WorkForce WF-7830DTWF

Initially in my haste I had ordered the version without A3 scanning. A phone call FROM printerland asking me if I was aware of the fact was very welcome as I could have been left with a printer that didn't meet my needs. The printer does everything I could ask for. It's also quieter than the Brother and doesn't throw the printed sheets on the floor. IF you are using Linux mint search for 7830 NOT WF-7830 when looking for drivers. Thank you Matthew at printerland or sorting that out for me. I am delighted with Printerland also. I would recommend both the company and the printer without reservation.

Having been an Epson fan for several years print quality and scanning performance has been important. I have always invested in later models when current ones become worn or outdated. Lately in addition to the WF-7830 I have purchased an A4 Eco Tank all in one model. Neither have good scanning capability. On earlier models I had Epson Scan which offered me Home Office or Professional Mode. It was also able to deal with image correction of a quite complex nature. If there are any geniuses out there who can solve my problem. Please say so as it looks as if I will have to buy a stand alone scanner.

I love my new printer so far. It was easy to set up and feels high-quality and robust despite the low entry price and does everything I need. I was slightly surprised it offers Fax facility as I didn't know people still used that but I skipped this feature in the setup menu. My old A3 printer broke and didn't offer scanning at A3 so this will make my life a lot easier.
