Spicebomb van Viktor & Rolf is een uitgesproken warme, kruidige herengeur met tonen van peper, kaneel, saffraan, leer, tabak en vetiver. De geur wordt vaak geprezen om zijn verleidelijke karakter, sterke aanwezigheid en goede levensduur van rond de 6 tot 8 uur, vooral in de eerste uren. Dit maakt hem zeer geschikt voor avonden, uitgaan en koude seizoenen, maar minder passend op hete zomerdagen of in zeer formele kantoren. De projectie is duidelijk merkbaar, waardoor je snel complimenten kunt krijgen, al kan dit voor liefhebbers van subtiele geuren juist te veel zijn. De opvallende granaatvormige flacon wordt vaak genoemd als pluspunt, maar de geur is minder veelzijdig als dagelijkse, frisse allround parfum. Kopers die een krachtige, sensuele winter- en avondgeur zoeken, krijgen hier veel waar voor hun geld, terwijl wie iets lichts en zomers wil beter verder kan kijken.

For me, Spicebomb is one of the best fragrance DNAs ever created. You notice that especially today, when it feels like new sweet vanilla and gourmand fragrances are constantly appearing. Spicebomb, by contrast, is a completely different animal. Spicy, confident and edgy, yet never clumsy. Alongside the pronounced spicy note, I get a slight acidity and, above all, this wonderfully aromatic, subtly sweet cinnamon-tobacco accord that runs like a red thread through the entire fragrance for me. To me, this is unmistakably a fragrance of passion, intimacy and a hot evening with the woman you love. It has something incredibly hypnotic and, at the same time, seductive about it. Not in a cheap or overbearing way, but in a way that almost disarms you. That is exactly what makes it so powerful for me: It does not simply smell good, but creates a mood. And very few fragrances can do that.
