De 50 ml versie van Montblanc Legend EDT biedt exact hetzelfde frisse, schone en mannelijke geur-DNA als de grotere flacon, maar dan in een compacter formaat. Dit maakt hem erg geschikt om mee te nemen in een tas of koffer, of om de geur eerst uitgebreid te testen voordat je een grotere fles koopt. De geur zelf staat bekend als massaal geliefd, veelzijdig en compliment-trekkend, waardoor hij goed werkt op kantoor, in de vrije tijd en tijdens een date. Houd er wel rekening mee dat de prestaties gelijk zijn aan de 100 ml: gemiddeld tot wat zwak, met beperkte projectie en meestal 4 tot 6 uur draagduur. Daarnaast is de geur niet heel uniek en lijkt hij sterk op andere populaire mannengeuren, wat voor liefhebbers wat saai kan zijn. In warm weer kan Legend bovendien snel te zwaar aanvoelen als je te royaal sprayt. Voor wie een praktische, kleinere flacon van een veilige allrounder zoekt, is deze 50 ml uitvoering echter een logische keuze.

I really liked the scent from Montblanc, and that was right from the first spray. It is super fresh and strongly reminds me of a really good sporty ice-cold shower gel. But this is not at all bad to understand. On the contrary, I love this freshness very much. You can wear this scent in the office as well as during the day on hot days. When I am on vacation, this scent is always with me, summer, sun, beach; when I think of a scent, it's this Montblanc here. I unconsciously reach for this scent so often that one or two bottles have already been emptied. To be honest, I find it hard to describe the fragrance notes of this scent. I love this extreme freshness; it does become softer over time but never loses its pleasantly cool freshness. Longevity is not beast mode, but it's not bad either. Absolutely okay, which is why for me the price-performance ratio of this scent is a win.

This scent doesn't make anything special or unique for the "trained" nose; it is simply rock-solid and usable in almost any situation.
