I thought, based on the product description, that there would be some contrast here. Mandarin (whether green or "normal") is almost completely crushed by a vanilla-cinnamon-creamy tonka bean. After my Code Profumo was slowly running out and unfortunately was no longer available, I was very pleased that Armani is releasing the successor or the "same" fragrance under a different name. The new Armani Code Eau De Parfum from 2024 smells very similar to its predecessor "Profumo". Since I still have the old original here, I can say that there is a difference and that Profumo indeed smells better. Nevertheless, you can place the Code Eau de Parfum on your shelf and especially wear it on cool days.
