This is the second time I bought this Nude Awakening palette. I personally wish it was all matte shades.

I got the old style comfort zone palette from home bargains in the UK for 99p in December 2020. I couldn't believe my eyes! I haven't tried the new version with the matt shades in but I have been really impressed with the original shimmer only palette. I need to use a matt shade from another palette but wow there are some lovely shades in this palette. The most notable one is the duochrome brown / blue. That need a matt shade behind it to make it duochrome so I'm not sure why this palette doesn't have matt shades in the original format. Seems a bit strange. I like the brow bone highlights but the gold one is a bit patchy. I would ignore the classification of certain shades as definers etc. Just use them how you like cos I think wet'n'wild are a bit mad with their classifications. Overall, at 99p I would buy it again in a heart beat. It's a really good palette.

Shades are redder and/or pinker than pictures - not nudes/naturals. Most pans are shimmery and several, when applied, look very similar. Texture is a bit chalky with powdery fallout and pigmentation is just okay. I like some WnW makeup but this palette is a flop.

Hi! Youtubers made me buy it. Out of all the palettes from Wet'n'Wild,Comfort Zone seemed more fitted for a brunette. Transition shades-a little dusty.The lighter colors didn't impressed me much.And I reached the darker shades -OK,it's getting warmer.And then the duo-chromatic blue-brown -I just fell inlove iwth the palette. I've weared the eyeshadows around 9 hours(with primer) & they didn't budge. I'm pleasantly impressed by this palette.Kicks off asses of more expensive eyeshadow palettes.
