Rode PSA1

The first thing that strikes you about the PSA1 is its robust construction and build quality. The RODE PSA1 is a good investment. It is a reliable, solid and extremely functional product that considerably improves the comfort of using a microhpone. If you're looking for a quality microphone arm that will last for years without disappointing you, the RODE PSA1 is a great value.

Flexible mic arm. Mounts to edge of desk easily. Not cheap but solid and does the job. Using with Shure sm7 microphone

Rode does it again! This Boom Arm is well made and very sturdy. It attached to my desk in minutes and was very easy to adjust and manage. I also like the extra pad around the arm for sound and cable management. Overall very worth the money as it is likely going to last for a long time.

Rode's reputation is well established. Well-designed, solid product with perfect soundproofing. I use it with a fairly heavy Rode PodMic USB. Once the ideal microphone position has been set, it doesn't move even when you manipulate the arm. An important point that is not mentioned in either the specification sheet or the product description: In addition to the removable stand (with a joint clamp as shown in the product photo), there's also a stand with a very attractive brushed aluminium cable duct that can be installed with a 50-80 hole saw if your work surface doesn't have cable ducts.
