This is a replacement for a similar microwave bought in the 90s. It doesn't seem as well made or sturdy but seems to work well. But faffy to clean inside around the heating elements and exhaust ports.

............. They could have put a flex on it that was long enough. They say in the instruction book to place the oven AT LEAST 1.65m above the ground. IF you did & the socket was around skirting board hight I doubt the flex would reach.
