Clarins Water Lip Stain 04 Violet Water 7 ml

Bought this a while ago. I am using the second bottle. The third one is in reserve. However, at the time I bought them, they were named Candy Water. I am not sure though this soft pink shade is the same. It looks the same by the picture on this website. I like it because it is not drying, it looks natural and better on me. It is not long lasting but it is long enough for me. It doesn’t disappear just by drinking water. I wear it to go out doing chores and workout classes. I just put on one coat. It is buildable so more coats will give deeper colour.

These lip stains have become a go-to, especially for hot summer weather where you may want a fresh pop of colour but not a sticky feeling. After a bit of learning curve with applying, as long as I leave it time to dry, they seem to last quite well. I also like how the colour can be built up with a few swipes orr layered with a lip oil or gloss when preferred.

Really disappointed with this. It totally dries your lips out, and the colour does not last. It doesn’t even go on evenly. Very annoyed I have wasted my money on it, I love all lip products I have tried previously, so was shocked at how bad this product is.

I bought a full size Rosewater Red lip stain after I was close to finishing travel size gift with purchase. This lip stain is in my everyday routine now as it applies easily (no liner needed), doesn't bleed around edges, dries to the touch but leaves lips soft. I top with Lip Oil in Pitaya for a perfect lip look. It's just so fool proof easy & looks great even on more mature lips. I get so many compliments & asked what I'm using as lip products. A little goes a long way & travel size lasted months of everyday use.

I've been wearing the Red Water for a couple of years now. It's amazing. Last so long, when usually my lipstick is gone in under half an hour. The color is bold, but it suits my fair complexion exceptionally well. I purchased a different shade at the advice of a beauty advisor once, but nothing beats the Red Water. I do find it feels dry on my lips, so I always go over the top with a simple lip balm.
