very good product for a PC without a wired Ethernet socket and for anyone who wants a wired link between a switch or box

The flat cable that connects the adapter to the computer is sensitive to twisting. After several months of use on a laptop, a false contact made the internet connection intermittent, and eventually stopped working altogether. I'm going to contact LDLC to replace it.

I had a major problem with the Ethernet controller (Realtek 8111H on a CM Asus Prime X570P bought in March 2020) on my dual-boot PC (Linux and Win 10): the network was no longer accessible under Linux, but remained accessible under Win 10 (the Linux driver must not be very good). Not wanting to change my configuration now, I bought this TP-Link UE306 V1 USB3-RJ45 adapter. Plugged it into a stopped PC then booted Linux: the network was immediately connected and works normally. (Linux distribution antiX 19 amd64, kernel 4.9.200)

Het product heb ik via mijn werk pc direct kunnen gebruiken (windows), door de UE306 in 1 van de USB poorten van mijn Dell U3419W scherm te prikken. De connectie met mijn persoonlijke Macbook air M2 was een anders verhaal.
