De Shure SRH240A-BK-EFS biedt een neutraal en gedetailleerd geluid dat vooral geschikt is voor lichte studio- of thuisgebruik. Het comfort is goed dankzij de zachte oorkussens en het lichte ontwerp, waardoor je hem lang kunt dragen. De bouwkwaliteit is echter minder stevig en de behuizing kan kraken. De bas is niet erg diep, wat een nadeel is voor wie van veel bas houdt. Ook kunnen de hoge tonen soms fel overkomen. Voor deze prijsklasse is het een prima keuze, maar verwacht geen topklasse prestaties of duurzaamheid.

This is my second Shure product. My first was the SE215 BT earbuds. Great headphones! The SRH240A headphones have great sound as well. To me they have a natural sound and none of the frequencies are over driven. They have a clear and precise audio reproduction.So far I'm satisfied with the Shure products. In my research for good sounding audio gear I don't think I have read a negative review about Shure products thats what lead me to try them. Would definitely recommend them to a friend or someone who is looking for good sounding audio gear.

Above-average for neutral listening. These headphones have a decent Bass and Treble but an overly emphasized mid-range. This makes instruments and vocals sound too forward and bit harsh on some tracks. That and the slight spikes in the treble range makes their sound slightly sharp overall. They also have a limited Soundstage due to their closed design but should sound good enough for most listeners.
