De Koss KPH7 wit is een zeer betaalbare on-ear hoofdtelefoon die vooral wordt geprezen om zijn lage prijs en lichte ontwerp. De geluidskwaliteit is voldoende voor podcasts of spraak, maar voor muziek ontbreekt het duidelijk aan bas en dynamiek. Veel gebruikers melden dat de bouwkwaliteit kwetsbaar is en dat de hoofdtelefoon niet altijd comfortabel zit, vooral bij grotere hoofden. Door de lage gevoeligheid is het lastig om voldoende volume te halen uit een telefoon zonder extra versterking. Voor wie een goedkope, lichte hoofdtelefoon zoekt voor incidenteel gebruik of spraak, is dit een prima keuze, maar verwacht geen vol geluid of lange levensduur.

I like these very much. I've seen them for sale for radio use and I wanted a small pair of on-ear headphones for ham radio cw use. They are great, light, decent-sound at the necessary 400 - 800 Hz that most morse code is done at, and robust so they are unlikely to break if chucked into a rucksack for portable operating. And at less than £10 you can't question the value for money. Only down-side is that that you have to drive them quite hard compared to ear-buds and another thing to bear in mind is that they don't isolate much, so you can still hear things going on around you. That's neither positive nor negative, just bear in mind that in loud ambient noise you won't hear the head-phones. Highly recommended for cw.

Too loud even on lowest volume setting. These are not suitable for children. No ear /sound protection which possibly isn't good for adults either. Probably fine for short term use but I wouldn't buy them for long term, regular use. Black covers on ear piece keeps falling off. Very basic head phones.

Our school loves the 50pkg for classrooms and computer lab. These are at a great price , we're at a primary school and little ones just tear things up, so these are great for us !
