Overall, I really like this product. I splash it on my face in the AM and PM, after thoroughly cleansing. Some have compared the smell with saliva, and I'd say that's very accurate. (While that may not exactly be pleasant, I prefer the product's natural scent to anything fragranced or perfumed.) It soaks in very nicely and leaves my skin hydrated. I've been using for several weeks, and I think it's helped improve the overall quality of my skin. That said, it's very pricey, and I'm not sure if it's entirely worth it. Some may have had more outstanding results. Yes, it comes in a glass bottle, but that's not an issue. Glass is far better for the environment than plastic!

Heard so much about Biotherm's star product- the life plankton essence and bought one after running out of my usual toner. You are told to shake the bottle before using as the star ingredient, Life Plankton, is found settled at the base of the bottle. It is extremely watery and is fragranced. Upon application, the feeling of alcohol is evident although its not empowering. The solution sinks onto the skin pretty easily.. The best thing is that you will wake up the hydrated skin instantly and with twice use per day... You will definitely notice results within 3 days. It is indeed the miracle toner. I have been using this for night and day and I love the fact that my skin looks so much more hydrated and glowy. It is also almost never dehydrated. An investment into your skincare routine!

It's my life-saver. When I get any irritation or redness, I always apply this on my skin. For the result, it soothes as well as strengthens my skin. I'm now using the third bottle. It's so worth to invest with this thing. Personally, its smell doesn't bother me at all and its texture is a little bit sticky but I'm OK. And I will absolutely repurchase it.

It is a good essence, however I didn’t feel much effect and I had to use it a lot for my entire face to feel saturated and soaked in it. Therefore I ran out of it with less than 2 months. For the price point it is very expensive and I feel Asian market offers a lot of cheaper alternatives with algae, antioxidants, hydrants and being also free of irritants. How it is marketed I expected it to really make a difference but it just fell flat for me.

After I got E-matrix treatment, I got a lot of redness which caused by the treatment however, i put biotherm over my face at night that morning i can see my skin was healing, the redness started to fade away. But i gave 4 lippies because of expensive price though.
