De Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed Zwart biedt een uitstekende microfoon en is zeer comfortabel dankzij het lichte ontwerp. De batterij gaat lang mee en je kunt eenvoudig wisselen tussen draadloze, Bluetooth- en USB-verbindingen. Wel laat de geluidsisolatie te wensen over, waardoor je omgevingsgeluid blijft horen. De microfoon is niet afneembaar, wat de flexibiliteit beperkt. Het standaard geluidsprofiel is vrij fel en mist diepe bas, maar dit is deels aan te passen via de software. De leren oorkussens zijn minder duurzaam en kunnen bij langdurig gebruik warm aanvoelen. Over het algemeen is dit een sterke keuze voor gamers die comfort, microfoonkwaliteit en batterijduur belangrijk vinden, maar minder geschikt als je veel waarde hecht aan geluidsisolatie of diepe bas.

I'm giving this rating because I spend all my time plugging it in when I'd rather use Bluetooth. As soon as I unplug it, I have about two minutes before it automatically disconnects. I have to reconnect it every two minutes. On some games, the sound becomes awful, with crackling on Bluetooth (Star Citizen, League of Legends, Rust, CS:GO, etc.). To solve the problem, I leave it plugged in all the time, but I think it's silly to have bought a Bluetooth headset that I can't use on Bluetooth.

Dankzij de drivers hoor je elk detail in games, en de zachte oorkussens maken hem fijn om langdurig te dragen. De draadloze verbinding is betrouwbaar en zonder vertraging, ideaal voor intensieve sessies. De batterij gaat lang mee, en opladen hoeft maar eens in de paar dagen. Een minpunt is de ruisonderdrukking. De is niet optimaal, waardoor je omgevingsgeluiden kunt horen. Daarnaast is de THX Software een money-grab product en zeker niet nodig om optimaal van de headset gebruikt te kunnen maken.

Update... I did more research and found that the firmware for the dongle and headset were out of date. I downloaded the firmware updater and did the update and my headset is working perfectly again. These are amazing headphones for the price and I am very pleased it was a tech issue that was fixed fairly easily, I do however wish that Razer had made this more clear to begin with and have saved me time and frustration. Love these when it was working, the transmitter receiver cratered and now I have a wired pair of head phones, returning for refund.
