LEGO The Hobbit op PS4 is een toegankelijke en humoristische game die vooral leuk is om samen te spelen. De co-op modus wordt vaak geprezen, net als de herkenbare sfeer en humor uit de films. Er zijn veel geheimen en verzamelobjecten, wat zorgt voor extra speeluren. Nadelen zijn dat het verhaal niet compleet is (alleen de eerste twee films), het grote aantal personages soms verwarrend werkt en het verzamelen van materialen voor crafting als onnodig omslachtig wordt ervaren. Voor gezinnen en fans van LEGO-games is het een vermakelijke keuze, maar wie een volledig Hobbit-verhaal zoekt of snel verveeld raakt door herhaling, moet rekening houden met deze beperkingen.

Very fun game. Only thing is it only includes the first two movies and doesn't have the Battle of Five Armies content.

My 11 year old son has enjoyed this game so far. He loves all the Lego video games. It definitely age appropriate.
