A little disappointed! I like the color but almost impossible to sharpen the pencil. I feel like I have wasted half of it.

These products are always so inconsistent. Some of them are nice and smooth for application while others are sticky and clumpy. The sticky one is useless to use and just a waste of money but you never know what you’re going to get until you open it and try it. But if it’s the smooth one it’s a great product.

I’ve been buying this particular brand of eyeliner for several years. I always buy the sapphire pencil, but the last four I have bought were not like the ones I’ve bought in the past. The color is off and the actual wood in the pencil is very dry and a reddish color. It’s almost impossible to get a point on the pencil and by the time I do the pencil is half gone and it tends to break off and goes on your eye very dry. With that being said I’ve had to throw away all of those pencils. Those pencils were made in Mexico and the ones I had previously that worked like a dream are made in Germany. Those pencils sharpen easily to appoint and the wood is lighter in color and does not turn into shavings. I don’t know what has been done to the pencils but I won’t be buying any more of them. I had purchased them at a local Pharmacy and purchased the last two directly from NYX.

Love the ease of this eye pencil! Very smooth and easy to use. I do, however, wish it came with a sharpener as I like a thin line.
