De Philips L'Or Barista LM9012/21 is populair door zijn veelzijdigheid: je kunt zowel L'OR, Nespresso als andere compatibele capsules gebruiken, wat veel keuze geeft. Het unieke dubbele shot systeem maakt het mogelijk om twee kopjes tegelijk te zetten of een sterke dubbele espresso. De machine warmt snel op en levert consequent goede koffie met een mooie crema. Je kunt eenvoudig de kopgrootte instellen en de bediening is intuïtief. Nadelen zijn de beperkte beschikbaarheid van XXL-capsules, het feit dat alleen L'OR deze grote capsules maakt, en dat het matte kunststof oppervlak snel vingerafdrukken en stof aantrekt. Ook kan er na gebruik wat water in de lekbak achterblijven. Over het algemeen is het een uitstekende keuze voor wie flexibiliteit en gemak zoekt, maar houd rekening met de beperkte XXL-capsulekeuze.

First coffee pod maker we have purchased and to be honest love it now it's the choices of different types of coffee to choose. But overall very pleased with the product.

The machine stopped working after a few days because it didn't seem to like the pods supplied with it. One burst, and left a lot of residue inside which I cleaned out, and I have been using Starbucks ones in it ever since with no issues. Apart from that it's much quieter in use than my old Nespresso, which only lasted a year and a half, and I love the fact I can make 2 cups at the same time.
