De Beurer BC 27 polsbloeddrukmeter is compact en licht, waardoor hij ideaal is voor thuisgebruik en op reis. Het apparaat biedt een kleurenschaal en aritmie-detectie, automatische meting en uitschakeling, en twee gebruikersprofielen met 60 geheugenplaatsen. Ook berekent het apparaat het gemiddelde van 7 dagen en wordt een opslagbox meegeleverd. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van Bluetooth of USB, een niet-verlicht display en beperkte geschiktheid voor kinderen of mensen met ernstige circulatieproblemen. Het apparaat is alleen geschikt voor polsmetingen en niet voor bovenarm. Over het algemeen wordt het apparaat gewaardeerd om zijn gebruiksgemak en draagbaarheid, maar mist het geavanceerde connectiviteitsopties.

Being accustomed to old-fashioned BP monitors, I was at first convinced that either I was an anomaly who should not be alive or this product was malfunctioning, as the readings were way too high. Do consult the manual carefully before taking any drastic steps. The product is not a watch and needs to be used as indicated. When used as directed, it is accurate and performs as it should.

The machine appears to be working as intended. It is advisable to read the user manual during setup, as you will notice that "Er" is one of the machine's functions and does not necessarily indicate defect. The machine comes with a container that looks cute. However, its durability is disappointing. Unfortunately, mine broke in less than 24 hours of use.

The blood-pressure wrist monitor is very similar to the one I am replacing. A very useful, compact product and it even came with a set of separately packed batteries.
