De Ring Indoor Cam 2nd Gen biedt een handmatige privacy cover waarmee je audio en video direct uitschakelt, wat extra privacy geeft. Het compacte ontwerp en de flexibele montage maken het makkelijk om de camera overal te plaatsen. De beeldkwaliteit is goed dankzij 1080p HD en kleur nachtzicht, en de installatie is eenvoudig. Wel zijn veel functies, zoals persoonsherkenning en opslag, alleen beschikbaar met een Ring Protect-abonnement. De privacy cover werkt niet automatisch en het gezichtsveld is wat beperkt. Ook werkt de camera alleen op netstroom, dus er is geen batterijoptie. Dit zijn belangrijke punten om te overwegen bij aankoop.

Ring does make a pan and tilt camera that I use and it is great!
