De Bosch Professional GKS 190 is een handcirkelzaag voor zwaar en regelmatig zaagwerk in hout en plaatmateriaal. Het model past bij gebruikers die lange rechte sneden en vlot werken belangrijk vinden. Voor wie vooral licht, stil of heel fijn wil zagen, is dit minder geschikt.

Bought this last week. I inherited a circular saw that was a few years old, quite heavy and cumbersome to use. While I considered some of the newer battery powered models the this mains powdered saw dose meet my needs, it is much lighter and quieter than the saw I have been using and so far produced clean straight cuts - well made and came with a carry case. I may invest in a fine cut blade - happy with my purchase

This is quite a good lightweight saw apart from one major drawback. The fence for parallel cutting does not go closer to the blade than the edge of the base of the saw. It is therefore useless for cuts below about 30mm. I wanted this primarily for trimming the bottom of doors and I have to clamp a straight edge to the door instead of just using the supplied fence. I really expected better from Bosch who have just gone down considerably in my estimation.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. I had 40 , 15 foot, 8 inch wide 2.5 inch deep timber purlins I wanted to cut down the length. This machine did a great job.
