De Sage the Tea Maker is ideaal voor theeliefhebbers die gemak en precisie zoeken. This is our third one. We use it daily, so yes, it does wear out eventually! I think the first one was 7 years, the last one was 8 years, so it was time! We can't live without, so we gladly replace it. This has all the features of a coffee maker—pre-program to come on the morning, keep it hot for an hour—and then a few more. You can pick your temperature and your brewing strength to get the perfect tea. No more boiling water and forgetting it boiled and now the water isn't hot enough. No more steeping tea and forgetting it, and now it's too strong. No need for a time, it lowers the tea to the perfect temp water, steeps for the perfect amount based on tea strenth, and then lifts the tea out, and keeps it warm until you're ready for it. Perfection!!!

Easy to operate, easy to clean perfect tea. Every time I also use it as a hot pot for coffee. Love the programmable options.It's just great!

I had mine for maybe 10-13 years. I had to replace the base once due to a power outage. This time though the water spilled over (it was below the tea line) and hit the power strip and now it’s dead. I’ll have to save up for a new one. I LOVED this thing. It’s so nice to make a giant pot of tea without checking the temperature and time. If you purchase this and take carenof it you’ll get a good use out of it.

This was my second tea maker. I had the first one for over 20 years, and it was well worth the money. Perfect tea every time.
