De Insta360 GO 3S in Midnight Black is een ultracompacte 4K-actioncam die vooral uitblinkt in veelzijdigheid en gemak. Dankzij het zeer kleine formaat en de magnetische bevestiging kun je hem op plekken monteren waar een gewone actioncam niet past, ideaal voor creatieve POV- en behind-the-scenes shots. De 4K-resolutie en FreeFrame-modus maken het eenvoudig om achteraf te kiezen tussen horizontale, verticale of vierkante video, wat handig is voor social media. Met de Action Pod krijg je een kantelbaar scherm, langere accuduur en comfortabele bediening zonder smartphone. Tegelijk zijn er duidelijke compromissen: de beeldkwaliteit en stabilisatie zijn goed maar niet op het niveau van grotere modellen zoals top-GoPro’s of DJI Action, vooral bij minder licht. De accuduur van de losse camera is kort, het Bluetooth-bereik van de Pod is beperkt en de Pod zelf is slechts spatwaterdicht, waardoor je onder water alleen de kleine camera zonder scherm kunt gebruiken. Ook ben je aangewezen op interne opslag zonder microSD, wat regelmatig leegmaken via relatief trage overdracht noodzakelijk maakt. Deze camera is dus vooral interessant voor wie unieke standpunten en draagcomfort belangrijker vindt dan maximale beeldkwaliteit en batterijduur.

The device itself functions but has limited battery life and storage. It seems to heat up when the camera only device is used. We are really disappointed in target and their return policy. We were made to believe this had a normal 3 month return policy as a target member and red card holder for years, and when attempted to return were not allowed to do so. I have shopped loyally at target for years for this purchase and am very disappointed in this experience.

Great for filming behind the scene content and POV. Its compact, lightweight and easy to navigate the menu. The magnet pendant super useful and I love the portability of this device.

The Insta360 Go 3S is hands down one of the most fun cameras I've ever tried. It really pushes you to get creative in ways your phone or bigger cameras just can't. I love snapping it onto random spots with the magnet—it's perfect for capturing unique angles of everyday life, like even underwater, haha! I also clipped it onto my daughter's chest, and it was such a blast. You catch all these little moments you'd normally miss. We're all totally loving it!
