I think I was unlucky and recieved binoculars that were misalligned causing a double vision effect. Both barrels could be used individualy (both perfect) but double vision occured when trying to use them as you normally would. I'm no expert but my thinking was that this issue was mechanical rather than optical. I'd opt for fixed binoculars rather than the folding type you see here. Returned and refunded by Amazon no problem. Nikon also have a cost free 5 year warranty and extended slightly limited warranty for 10 years. This option is cost free and fairly effortless. Had they functioned as they should I would consider them good value for your money, but as said...

I bought this as a present. As a keen birdwatcher I use high end binoculars and was hoping these would be good enough at the price and I was really surprised by their build quality and optical performance. No they don’t match up to my Swarovski bins but at the price I don’t think you could find better and they are more than adequate for the casual user.

I like these bins as they are compact, powerful with superb quality optics. Easy to use and carry.
