This was made for the German market so we got dumped on. Somewhere telephones have lost their mojo and whowever designed this one did not want to make your life easy.

The company Sotel are selling these phone with german instructions only! The manual (I am pressuming in English, but I never found out because my disk drive would not accept it) is also on a home burnt CD! Very proffessional!NOT! The phone, to my surprise, also require 3 aa batteries which was not listed in the description. Plus the connection at the end of the phone line will not fit into a UK phone socket. I was expecting a phone that ran off of the mains, so I did not have the fuss of replacing batteries. It's going back in the box and I would like my money back.

This phone does all it should and more, it has a loud ring and good variable volume on the handset and loudspeaker. Very easy to use the only negative but really very minor is I had to connect an ADSL filter even though my home system is filtered at the junction box.Tto sum up its well built, sturdy, clear sound, good volume and easy to use, best wired phone I have bought in ages, well done Panasonic, another good product.
