De Samsung Q7FA 85" QLED 4K (2025) biedt een degelijke kleurweergave en is direct uit de doos accuraat in SDR. De lage input lag maakt hem geschikt voor casual gaming, en het Tizen smart platform biedt veel apps en handige functies. De bouwkwaliteit is solide en de verstelbare voeten zijn praktisch. Echter, de helderheid is erg laag, waardoor het beeld in lichte of HDR-situaties tegenvalt. Moderne gamingfuncties zoals HDMI 2.1, 120Hz en VRR ontbreken, en het contrast is matig met grijze zwarten in donkere scènes. De kijkhoeken zijn beperkt en er zijn uniformiteitsproblemen zichtbaar. Ook ontbreken Dolby Vision en DTS-ondersteuning, wat een nadeel is voor home cinema-liefhebbers. Over het algemeen is dit model vooral geschikt voor wie een groot scherm zoekt voor basisgebruik in een niet te lichte kamer, maar er zijn betere alternatieven in deze prijsklasse.

Good TV - the picture is clear and great for everyday TV and films, but you would probably look for something a little better if you were building a full cinema-room. It's very heavy - Samsung advise 4 people to wall mount it, and I see why! 3 of us managed, but only just. It's VESA 600x400, so if you want a wall bracket, go for the widest you can find: I got one that's 610mm wide, and it literally just fits - I'll be getting a wider one for when I lift it down to decorate in a few weeks.

Lost one star due to almost inaccessible HDMI sockets once it’s mounted on a wall, so best advice is to ensure it is fully cabled with everything needed before hanging it. Even the power cable plug into the TV is difficult to access. Grrrrr - this is an obvious design fault and so easy to redesign. Apart from this, the picture is stunning.

Well happy with my new 85” Samsung tv Picture quality spot on with no picsolation Which I thought I might have got with the size of it Setting up was a bite of work due to having to get the Samsung App to get anything working plus all my other channels I use to add on to the tv accounts I also bought a Samsung surround sound system to work with the new tv. Quality of sound fantastic As good as sitting in the cinema Best purchase to date Would recommend to anyone if they could fit this in there house

TV has great sharpness, colours are sharpe, overall for the price really happy looks great in the in our garden building.
