De Philips 43PUS8500/12 biedt een indrukwekkend helder en kleurrijk beeld dankzij de 4K QLED-technologie en Quantum Dots. De 3-zijdige Ambilight voegt echt iets toe aan de kijkervaring, vooral bij films en games. HDR-ondersteuning is breed, met Dolby Vision en HDR10+, en het geluid is vol en ruimtelijk door Dolby Atmos en DTS:X. Titan OS werkt soepel en heeft veel apps, maar mist enkele Nederlandse diensten zoals KPN en Kijk. De kijkhoek is beperkt: bij zijdelings kijken nemen kleur en helderheid af. Ook is het energieverbruik relatief hoog (klasse F) en is de verversingssnelheid van 60 Hz een beperking voor veeleisende gamers.

I was excited to get this tv but disappointed with it in use. It was difficult to personalise and the menus were unintuitive. It was important to me to be able to carry my Android devices to it and that proved cumbersome, if not impossible, as it seemed Apple devices were the only option. I have given the tv to my son, who is an Apple user and has in return bought me the LG that was originally my second choice.

Although I never got to use this due to damage Ollie and the staff at Sheffield did all they could to help and I would like to thank them for all there hard work
