De Philips 43PUS8079/12 biedt een indrukwekkende kijkervaring dankzij Ambilight, scherp 4K-beeld en HDR10+ ondersteuning. Het geluid is vol en ruimtelijk door Dolby Atmos. Titan OS maakt het gebruik van apps en streamingdiensten eenvoudig. Voor gamers zijn VRR en ALLM aanwezig, maar het 60 Hz paneel beperkt de vloeiendheid bij snelle games. Het energieverbruik is relatief hoog (klasse F/G) en alleen één HDMI-poort ondersteunt de nieuwste standaard. Over het algemeen is dit een veelzijdige en aantrekkelijke TV, vooral voor wie waarde hecht aan beeldbeleving en smart-functies.

The LED’s are nice and the video quality is alright, however Titan OS one big joke. Its slow and you can’t download additional apps. Also the preinstalled apps are useless and you can’t uninstall them. Furthermore the hardware is also really bad. You cant even connect to a 5G network. PHILIPS DO BETTER.

De instellingen zijn moeilijk of niet terug draaien (tijdpad voor automatisch resetten).Van tijd tot tijd stopt de weergave van een uitzending en moet ik naar een andere zender om verder te kunnen gaan.

Short of excellence in that the manual could be clearer and adjusting the volume apart from mute takes more than a 'click' the Alexa app is a frill and while connected it is not clear if you need an app to get it to work. The ambilight is a great feature and picture excellent. Picture mirroring very good but use of internet requiring signing in is chunky and a bit frustrating. Persevere is motto of Leith, Edinburgh and the effort is worth it!
