De iPad Mini 7 (2024) valt op door zijn compacte formaat en lichte gewicht, waardoor hij ideaal is voor onderweg of als extra scherm naast je telefoon. De A17 Pro-chip levert vlotte prestaties voor dagelijks gebruik, gamen en multitasking. De batterij gaat makkelijk een hele dag mee en het 8,3-inch scherm is helder en prettig om op te lezen of video's te kijken. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van een 120Hz-scherm, waardoor scrollen minder vloeiend is dan bij duurdere iPads, en de relatief hoge prijs. Ook zijn er weinig echte vernieuwingen ten opzichte van de vorige generatie en voelt Touch ID wat ouderwets aan. Voor wie een kleine, krachtige tablet zoekt, blijft dit echter de beste keuze.

I got this to use as an e-book reader. It is a convenient size and works well. This is a typical Apple product with good design and build. However, it has all of the Apple ecosystem foibles which may or may not be a problem for some people. The specs are high end with a fast processor and excellent screen. It costs a lot more than a Samsung tablet, but the additional features are worth it to me.
