De Russell Hobbs 26020-56 is een draadloos stoomstrijkijzer dat vooral handig is voor wie snel en zonder snoer wil strijken. Het apparaat is krachtig genoeg voor de meeste kleding, maar bij grote stapels of zware stoffen zoals denim is een snoerloos model minder geschikt. Het grote voordeel is de vrijheid van beweging en het gemak van de One Temperature-technologie, waardoor je niet hoeft te wisselen van stand. Wel moet je het ijzer regelmatig opladen, wat bij veel strijken kan irriteren. Het ijzer is iets zwaarder dan normaal, maar dat weegt voor veel gebruikers op tegen het gemak van draadloos strijken. Let op: het vullen van het waterreservoir kan lastig zijn zonder het ijzer op te laden. Al met al een goede keuze voor wie af en toe strijkt en waarde hecht aan gemak en snelheid, maar minder geschikt voor intensief of zwaar strijkwerk.

Doesn’t get hot enough for bed linen or crisp cotton. Requires too frequent returns to base to reheat and spend more time waiting for it to heat up than ironing. More than triples time to iron a shirt. Once heated only stays warm for 10 seconds and very little steam production on max steam setting. Intent to replace with a cheaper plug in model.

The iron didn’t get hot enough for me it took me longer to do my ironing due to fact it get on having to warm up again I thought it would be easyer to iron with but it wasn’t

I really wanted to like this. It looked good and I liked the idea of cordless however it didn't stay hot enough for me. I was only hot for about 5 seconds and the steam wasn't effective at coming out.

It’s good to iron clothes but absolutely useless when it comes to any bed linen. It’s also not a hugely quick process - would prefer a temperature option and plug.
