De Philips PerfectCare Compact GC7842/40 is een krachtige en compacte stoomgenerator die het strijken aanzienlijk versnelt. Dankzij de automatische temperatuurinstelling hoef je niet meer te sorteren op stofsoort en voorkom je schroeiplekken. Het grote waterreservoir van 1,5 liter zorgt ervoor dat je lang kunt strijken zonder steeds bij te vullen. Het apparaat is licht en makkelijk op te bergen, en heeft handige functies zoals zelfreiniging en automatische uitschakeling. Wel is de stroomkabel aan de korte kant, en het waterreservoir is niet afneembaar, wat het bijvullen minder praktisch maakt. Ook is het waterniveau lastig te zien tijdens gebruik. Over het algemeen wordt het apparaat geprezen om zijn gebruiksgemak en prestaties, maar deze kleine nadelen worden regelmatig genoemd door gebruikers.

Really pleased with this iron matches a lot of more expensive ones, I have had the same one with a slightly lower spec and this is a great upgrade.

Takes a little bit of getting used to as you need to let go of the dream button a few moments before you finish a manoeuvre, but the automatic temperature sensor for different types of fabric is great. A nice compact steam generating iron.
