De Philips STH3010/30 handheld steamer is een handig apparaat voor snelle touch-ups, maar heeft gemengde reviews ontvangen. Positieve punten zijn de zeer snelle opwarmtijd van 30 seconden en het compacte, opvouwbare ontwerp dat ideaal is voor reizen. Het apparaat doodt 99,9% van de bacteriën en is veilig voor alle strijkbare stoffen. Echter, meerdere gebruikers melden dat de stoomkracht te beperkt is om hardnekkige kreukels effectief te verwijderen. Het kleine waterreservoir van 100ml biedt slechts ongeveer 5 minuten stoomtijd, wat vaak niet voldoende is voor een volledig kledingstuk. De steamer werkt het beste voor lichte verfrissingsbeurten van niet te zwaar gekreukte kleding, maar is geen volwaardige vervanging voor een stoomstrijkijzer bij moeilijke stoffen. Kopers moeten realistische verwachtingen hebben: dit apparaat levert ongeveer 80% van het resultaat van strijken in de helft van de tijd, maar is niet geschikt voor wie perfecte resultaten nastreeft.

For a small, travel-sized steamer there is nothing to complain about. The steamer heats up quickly and does the job on a decent variety of fabrics and garments. If you have a proper steamer at home and are looking to downsize, this is in no way a replacement. This will not smooth out a business shirt, not a miracle worker but a great product in comparison to other travel steamers on the market.

Great Steamer, light, easy to hold and to operate and does what it's supposed to do. I like the colour and the matt finish too.
