De Sony HT-A7000 biedt een indrukwekkend breed en helder geluidsbeeld, vooral voor dialogen en spraak. Dankzij de vele draadloze opties en HDMI 2.1 is hij veelzijdig inzetbaar. De soundbar mist echter diepe bas zonder extra subwoofer en de surround- en Atmos-effecten zijn als standalone beperkt. Ook wordt hij niet erg luid, wat hem minder geschikt maakt voor grote kamers. De prijs ligt bovendien hoger dan bij veel concurrenten. Overweeg een subwoofer en achterspeakers voor de beste ervaring.

The Sony HT-7000 might be expensive, but it's serious impressive. The tall and impossibly wide Dolby Atmos audio with tight sound positioning is as good as we've heard from any system without rear speakers, and it even manages a good dose of bass. The HDMI 2.1 connections are very welcome, too.

Had this sound bar for two weeks, have only just set it up. Surprised at how easy the set up was, once cables where connected, the on screen instructions were excellent and complete in a few minutes. Everything is working fine. The sound especially the speech is fantastic when watching a blue ray film. Very happy with this product.

Had this 3 months connected to Sony Bravia 83”. I’ve had several goes to set it up. I have 4/5 Remote Controls which is nothing but confusing. And when I finally get the image and sound together (hurray!!!) I hear very little difference from the TV without the soundbar (plus sub woofer and rear speakers). Wish I’d never been convinced to buy it.
